Lynn Haney Santas
Lynn Haney Santas began in 1987. Lynn sculpts the original head and a mold is made and reproduced in a wood composition. Next, trained studio painters give the facial features that Lynn Haney expects each of his masterpieces to have. Seamstresses cut velvets, wools and brocades along with European braids, trims and furs which are then carefully sewn to give each piece it's own distinct personality. Then beards and wigs of mohair and wool are made by hand to complete each piece facial features. The final touches are found in the toys, packages, baskets and other accessories that are added to complete each piece of art. Lynn Haney has taught all of his studio artists to sew the costumes, paint the faces and craft the pieces that await his final finishing touches as he continues to develop beautiful new designs!
